$75 Swap Meet Score - 1987 Bianchi + Killer Guacamole

Today Grace, Cathy, Laura and I ventured down to the SLO swap meet. There I found a 1987 Bianchi in prime condition for $75. Amazing. This was the score of the day. On another note, Cathy and I made killer Guacamole.

massive brown spider galore

So while residing in Tehachapi for the past few days, I've stumbled upon more than my fair share of spiders. I finally spotted the never tiring, web-spinning spider residing unwelcome in my car mirror for the past month. I discovered it to be more freakishly big than I had imagined, however it was nothing in comparison to the spider I nearly stepped barefoot on in our front entry way. The thing was a beast; I was thinking camel spider or brown recluse? I'm really not sure. I'm disturbed yet intrigued by its sheer size. We disposed of it, but the next day (yesterday), as I was returning home at 1 am, I saw something move across our front porch. Sure enough, it was another massive brown spider. As it turns out, my brother had just caught another one a few hours prior, and to his amusement, gave it a little earwig friend.

A day in the life of Tehachapi. What is there to do besides creating random adventures, exploring new foods on the Greek restaurant menu, dancing in Save Mart aisles to classic 80s tunes, and getting pulled over for way too long by bored Tehachapi cops for late registration? Well, I will tell you, not much; however, there in the tiny town of Tehachapi, you will find clear starry nights and incredibly good people. Today's adventure involved 3 blondes, a car and some amazing nutella and nilla wafers... I call it, Nutellanilla.

Renny, my gorgeous, loving, amazing Chico roommate, and cherished friend of over 4 years, finally married the hilarious, clever, and handsome, Matt. Renny & Matt, high school sweethearts, were married in June 2010 at Cayucos Beach. As 5 o'clock neared, all eye's turned. Lauren looked breathtakingly stunning. Simple yet elegant, their wedding was beautiful & full of life;

Recently, I’ve discovered a new favorite children's book writer/designer, "Brian Wildsmith".

His use of color and design is incredible.

Having grown up in Yorkshire England, Wildsmith says,
